Common troubleshooting steps for Fusion Prep printers not printing labels
- Ensure your iPad is on the marlyn network, as it has to be on the same network as the printer.
- In the iPad Settings app, you can go to Security & Privacy > Local Networking, and confirm or toggle on the option for the Fusion Prep line item. This will ensure the app is allowed to print to other devices (the printer) on the same network.
- This option might pop up when printing a label for the first time on a new iPad install - tapping Allow achieves the same result.
- Checking ethernet cabling for the label printer and power.
- Using a pen or paper clip, find the "reset" hole on the back of the printer, next to the ethernet port/cable, and poke it for 2-3 seconds max - a network info chit should print out.
- Reference the printer's IP address, and in the Fusion Prep app, tap on More in the lower right, and then Settings. The Printer IP field should match what the printout from the printer is.
- If it is different, update it and try printing again.
- If it is the same, further troubleshooting may be required.
- Ensure the printer has paper and it is not jammed.
