From any screen, pull down from the top of the screen. Go to network, Wi-Fi. You should see an option to add network.
- SSID is marlyn, all lowercase
- Security type is WPA/WPA2 PSK
- Password is $m@rlyn!
Sign into Toast. You can use your own ToastTab backend credentials to log into Toast.
Next you will go through a guided setup:
- Choose Table Service
- Name the Device. If this is handheld 7-9, I would name it HH7, HH8, HH9, etc
- Turn on Digital Receipts
- Allow Credit Card Pre Authorizations
- Choose a receipt Printer
- Map revenue center to dining room
Finally, log into the toast device with the PIN. Once you are logged in, run a test credit card payment. The first time you do this it will ask you if you want to turn on EMV. Say yes. It will check for updates. Say yes or allow to any prompts. Run the payment, make sure it is successful, then void it after.
